We turned up a small run of rare, extra-large Shell Cordovan shells and built them into the LaSalle Briefcase. Shell Cordovan is vegetable-tanned over roughly six months and develops a glassy, self-polishing shine purely from handling, the kind of leather that only looks better the longer it's carried. The interior is lined in natural Horween® Essex, the unwaxed tannage that shares the same tree-bark extract blend as Shell Cordovan itself.

It fits a 16" laptop in a raised false-bottom sleeve, with a full-width front pocket under a snap closure, a pass-through luggage strap on the back for travel, and an adjustable leather shoulder strap with a Shell Cordovan pad. Zippers are YKK. The extra-large shells this run used are genuinely rare, so this exact piece exists only once. Handmade in Chicago, guaranteed for life.
