On a particularly nice summer day in Chicago, Nick Horween lent me a wide-angle lens and I was immediately inspired by it. I am a novice photographer, but looking through the shorter focal-length lens gave me a fresh perspective on the tannery that I have been walking through on a daily basis for ten years.
Most photos of the tannery show you an inside look at the tannery and all of its old-world tannery equipment but I wanted to show the inside out. Here are some photos taken that day... looking outside of the third floor window at Horween.
